Grey Heron, Juvenile

  A wading heron found near wetlands. It is a native bird across temperate Asia and Europe. It does do local migrations based on the water availability. They are fairly sized birds with a wing span of over 6ft. This is probably a Juvenile bird as the forehead, sides of the head and the centre of the crown are greyish, whereas in adults these are whitish.

Cattle Egret Non-breeding plumage

A bird that undergoes magnificent transformation between the breeding and non breeding plummages – from the whites to the leg color. It is seen mainly around feeding cattle and hence the name. This was not seen much before 1952 in the Americas but seen abundantly now.

Pied Bushchat Male

  A little bird from the grass lands that exhibits sexual dimorphism where the the female and the male can be clearly distinguished. In some of the communities the pied bushchat and the oriental magpie robin are hair bringers of good fortune.

This is the third of the series of images of this event. The overall sequence was about 74 images and Nikon D500 was absolutely amazing where it captured the entire sequence without a miss and not once did it struggle for Buffer.
