Made this image during a family outing. I observed this flower when walking towards the Dining area and what interested me was it had two leaves only and they were just starting to turn purple (death?) and there was this buds signifying a new life coming. When I walked past the same flower the next day I saw a solitary Yellow flower bloomed and that indicated a “Burning” desire to survive.

I positioned myself to get a dark plant in the back ground and under exposed by 2 stops. The bloom was selectively saturated more and background made darker to bring the emotion of a desire to succeed.
