Marsh Harrier male

The marsh harriers are birds of prey of the harrier subfamily. They are medium-sized raptors and the largest and broadest-winged harriers. The harrier is seen here quite drenched because of the overnight rain. The early morning light and the wet bird meant a high contrast image.
